Keynote Address at the special Automotive Industry and Launch of Infrastructure for West Africa Automotive Institute

It gives me great pleasure to address you today on this auspicious occasion of the special Automotive Industry Award and Launch of Infrastructure for West Africa Automotive Institute.
The West Africa Automotive Institute is a research and post-secondary multi-purpose driven technological institute; offering Technical Engineering; Vocational Enterprise Programmes in Automotive Engineering, Motor Engineering, Automotive Mechatronics Technology/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Communications Technology; among other impactful courses leading to the award of the West Africa Automotive Institute’s Certificate, Advanced Certificate, National Professional Diploma, Higher National Professional Diploma, and National Innovative Diploma.
Students of the West Africa Automotive Institute will also be presented for further certification by NBTE, NABTEB, and other relevant Management/Automotive Professional Bodies in Nigeria and overseas.
Objective:
To diversify skills development programs to meet the changing requirements, particularly of the emerging knowledge economy; as we build true marketplace competencies rather than mere qualifications.
